Biography:

Hi! I’m Georgie - otherwise known as the Queer Wedding Singer! Allow me to tell you a little bit about myself, and what I do.

Having been to many weddings in my time, some gay and some not, and one thing I can say hand on heart is that it makes such a huge difference to your day having people around you who you feel comfortable with, who understand your needs and - most importantly - want to celebrate you! And that should include the people you are trusting to take care of your event.

Music can evoke so many special memories, and for many couples their music choices are a huge part of their special day. Whether you need someone to sing you down the aisle, entertain your guests for an hour, or to join your wedding party for the whole day, I want your day to be as special as your love story is.

From the age of 2, you could find me dancing (in nothing but a nappy!) in the kitchen to Shania Twain and Tina Turner. And since then, a lot has happened (although I am still partial to a kitchen party!) I trained in Professional Musical Theatre and received my diploma from a well-renowned Drama School and since graduating, have been lucky to travel the world whilst singing for my supper. Throughout my career so far I have had the chance to sing 70’s Disco music, Musical Theatre ballads, Big Band Jazz, and Latin music, as well as all the pop classes we know and love (all of which are available to incorporate into your special day!)
